After the first 2020 lockdown, the client was forced to temporarily suspend his nightclub activity, and then deciding to turn the outdoor area of the disco into an en plein air restaurant. The preliminary design takes form through the investigation of the ruins of the former disco - once know as “Tutankamon” and then “Gatto e la Volpe”, on a site adjacent to the river Po, between Emilia-Romagna and Veneto. The project strategy is articulated in an archaeological way, unearthing new areas and burying others, working on landscape and green masses rather than on the buildings.
