The project for the enhancement of Viale De Gasperi with the construction of a multi-storey car park, in addition to containing vehicles, envisages several functional objectives that are flexible over time.
The parking has been conceived in its articulation to be flexible in the future, to meet the needs of total or partial function change: from the a covered market to a multipurpose gallery or a civic centre. The design, while starting from the tender requirements, which envisage the car park and the market square on the roof, emphasises its mixed purpose to the point of conceiving the structure and its construction system with an free-height of 3.0 metres for adaptability to different future functions.
